Physical Examinations
Students registering for Athletics must have a current physical examination dated June 1 or later uploaded into their rRschools account before the student is authorized to participate in practice/tryouts. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be completed and uplaoded no later than 5 school days prior to the first day of practice/tryouts. You will receive a message clearing your child for play and coaches will receive a list of students cleared for practicing.
Physicals are valid for one school year dated June 1 or later. All athletes K-12 will turn in pages 1-6 of the PIAA CIPPE Physical Forms. However, high school students must also turn in PIAA's Section 7: RE-Certification signed by a parent/guardian if his or her complete physical was completed by the doctor more than six weeks before the first day of practice in any winter or spring sport. For instance, if a student turns in a physical dated June 1 for fall sports, he or she must turn in the recertification form before beginning winter and/or spring sports. If a student is out for injury, in order to return to play, he or she will need to turn in PIAA Section 8 Re-CERTIFICATION BY LICENSED PHYSICIAN OF MEDICINE OR OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE.
Here is our Athletic Handbook for reference. Any mid-year changes made to athletic policy will be announced via email by the Athletic Director.
New High School Students playing soccer, volleyball, or track and field: Please email AD@trinitychristian.net as soon as possible so the Athletic Director can help you get started, as there are specific state rules we may have to follow for new high schoolers in those sports.
